Womens Physical Therapy in Cleveland

Rehab Professionals of Cleveland has a Women’s Health component, a physical therapy program for conditions unique to women such as pregnancy- related back pain, incontinence, pelvic pain, scarring from an episiotomy or other surgical procedures, osteoporosis, vulvar pain, and others.

“Women’s Health is designed for the increasing number of issues wo men face today requiring special care,” says, Ann Davis PT, Women’s Health Coordinator. “Many conditions which women suffer from respond favorably to fewer than six physical therapy visits.”

Ms. Davis adds that Women’s Health, a successful program for the past 10 years at Rehab Professionals’ Lakewood office, has expanded to North Olmsted. “Our program offers a non-invasive cure for some symptoms,” she explains. “This program gives women control over their own health, rather than needing to turn to medication or surgery for treatment.”

Women’s Health can often provide complete and permanent relief from some conditions, such as pelvic pain, tailbone pain, and scar pain. Other symptoms see tremendous improvement through Women’s Health. Incontinence, for example, can be reduced or eliminated with physical therapy.
