Dr. DiFilippo’s expertise in rehabilitation
of work-related injuries and his development of sports-specific
conditioning programs has helped many patients return to their jobs
or the sports they enjoy. As
an orthopedic physical therapist, treatment of conditions is not
limited to industrial and sports.
Dr. DiFilippo also enjoys treating all types of orthopedic
conditions such as sprains and strains, spinal disc problems, arthritis,
and balance deficits.
Dr. DiFilippo earned his bachelor’s
degree in physical therapy from
Bowling Green State
University
in conjuction with the Medical College of Ohio.
He then went on to earn a master degree in exercise science
from Cleveland State University,
and earned certification as a Strength and conditioning Specialist
by the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
His doctorate in physical therapy was obtained from Marymount University
in Arlington,
Virginia.
Dr. DiFilippo is also certified as a Workability Therapist
for industrial injury management through the Workability Network,
LLC.
Dr. DiFilippo is currently on
the board of directors for the Ohio Physical Therapy Association
and also instructs physical therapy students from
Cleveland State University.
He has led seminars on back care and treatment
in several states. Most
recently Dr. DiFilippo has given seminars to other healthcare providers
on foot and ankle treatment.
