About Us
Rehab Professionals of Cleveland, Inc. was established in 1994 to provide personalized out patient physical therapy services to greater Cleveland. Edward Aubé, PT and Maria Nolan, PT joined forces to open a clinic in Brecksville and expand the downtown Cleveland office opened by Mr. Aubé in 1991. The concept of providing individualized care was embraced by our clients, requiring a larger space including an aquatic therapy pool which we opened in 1998. In the meantime, Anthony DiFilippo, PT joined our group on a part-time basis, eventually becoming a partner in 1999. In 1999 RPOC purchased the practice of Stephanie Pritts, PT in Lakewood, and brought the North Olmsted clinic which Dr. DiFilippo had opened with Ms. Pritts.
This expansion brought Ann Davis, PT, who had worked along with Dr. DiFilippo, along with Ms. Pritts, who specialized in treating incontinence, pelvic pain and low back pain in women. In 2005 RPOC became a partner in Workability Network, LLC to offer occupational rehabilitation services including functional capacity evaluations, on-site therapy, transitional work and consulting services.
In 2006, our therapists were instrumental in seeing that Direct Access to physical therapy services became law in Ohio. This legislation allows persons to seek care from physical therapists without a referral from a physician. This legislation helps us bring services to our clients in a more timely and cost effective manner.
While many physicians have placed physical therapists in their offices and large hospital systems have sought to keep their patients in house for their rehabilitation, Rehab Professionals of Cleveland, Inc. is committed to providing personalized, accessible and most importantly, high quality services to our clients. We thank the thousands of clients who have supported us over the years to allow us to continue to serve Northeast Ohio.
